DiVA and PooL are produced by Frére Independent, a not-for-profit arts organization dedicated to promoting the work of artists and brotherhood in the arts.
DIVA
Participation to DiVA is by invitation of a member of the management team and by referral from participating galleries. We consult on a daily basis with curators, collectors and dealers worldwide. Participating galleries are encouraged to refer galleries.
Unlike most art fairs, there is no selection committee. If you are a gallery or an art dealer and would like to be considered to participate in DiVA, send an email to Elga Wimmer at «elga@divafair.com». We answer all emails. Please do not send material via hard copy.

IVY PARIS

chashama is a non-profit arts organization that provides opportunities for performing and visual artists. We support the development of art by awarding grants, producing shows and providing subsidized studio, rehearsal and performance space. Since 1995, we have provided artists with a home and the support resources necessary to present and create art that engages the community of New York. chashama has assisted almost 4,500 artists and presented, produced or sponsored over 450 shows, 15 festivals, and created 120 studio spaces for artist residencies.

Artists Talk On Art, the art world's longest running panel series, founded in 1975, offers its winter/spring semester program (see the web site). An archive of 850+ tapes has been recorded since the beginning. Over 6,500 artists have appeared. Panels or dialogs occur on Fridays at 7:00 PM, doors open at 6:30. The School of Visual Arts, 209 East 23rd Street, in the 3rd floor amphitheater. Admission is $7, $3 if you are a senior or student or SVA alumni. Pass-holders and SVA students and faculty are free.
